James (Hank) Combs, age 55, has more than 30 years of experience in the food scrap feeding industry. Hank has served as the Managing Member of Combs Brothers LLC for 12 years. Hank is a graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, 1986, with a Bachelor’s of Science in Ag. Business. Hank held various positions with the Nevada Farm Bureau, and served for ten years as the President of the Nevada Farm Bureau, completing his final term in 2017. Hank is married to Jill Combs. They have two children Katie and Clay. Hank, Jill and Katie all graduated from Cal-Polytechnic University – San Luis Obispo. Katie and Clay are currently employed by the Company. Hank and Jill have been involved in leading 4-H groups in the Las Vegas community for the past 20+ year, helping children and youth learn by doing with emphasis in agricultural projects.
Clint Combs, age 51, has more than 26 years of experience in the food scrap feeding industry. Clint has shared the role of Managing Member of Combs Brothers LLC for 12 years. Clint has served as a member of the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce and has participated in several “Green” organizations in the Las Vegas business community. Clint also attended Cal-Polytechnic University-San Luis Obispo. Clint made the difficult decision during his third year to leave college in order to assist his father who was facing serious threats to his farm and recycling business in Las Vegas. Clint is married to Elizabeth Combs. They have two sons, Carson and Wyatt who are currently in elementary school. Clint and Elizabeth are currently involved in leading 4-H Groups in the Las Vegas community. Although 4-H members participate in all kinds of projects, Clint and Elizabeth also encourage agricultural projects.
James and Clint Combs, who are native Nevadans, have proudly volunteered their services and time in helping improve our community and our community’s recycling awareness as well as involving themselves with helping to educate our next generation with the following organizations: 4-H, The American Diabetes Association, Girl Scouts of America, Kids’ Cooperative, Clark County Junior Livestock Association, Clark County Fair
The Combs Brothers are also members of the Las Vegas Green Chamber of Commerce, the Green Meeting Industry Council and American Farm Bureau Federation. James Combs is President of the Nevada Farm Bureau Federation and has served in this capacity since 2005.
Combs Brothers, LLC was instrumental in helping The Venetian / Palazzo receive the “Best Recycling Program” award given by the Las Vegas Business Press which was awarded this summer.
